Brave. Daring. Adventurous. Dramatic.

We here at the Citadel want to see works that encompass these traits and more. We want to be mystified by new worlds and massive ideas in shape and scope. We’re definitely interested in stories that break the hetero-normative narrative, stories that shatter the ethno-European viewpoint.

Not that we don’t enjoy a traditional tale set in a world of your own design but make sure it’s not the same old, same old that we’ve been reading since the late 1980’s.

Now let’s get to the nitty-gritty.

We’re seeking new, short fiction, unpublished elsewhere and this includes Facebook, Twitter and personal blogs.

Fiction submissions are paid a flat rate of 75$
